Unlocking the potential of coffee pulp

The idea behind Pectcof was created in an innovation course at Wageningen University in March 2011. In this course the founders came together for the first time, to talk about a biorefinery concept for a huge side stream in the industrial coffee chain: the coffee cherry.

Since then, the multicultural team has been working together to make Pectcof a great success. With the use of the different backgrounds in chemical and electrical engineering, as well as Master degrees in Food Chemistry, Process Engineering, Biotechnology, Management and Marketing the team combines different skills and experiences to run the company. On top of this management team we have many experienced advisers and partners that strengthen and advise on all the important aspects of technology and running a company.
